Levico Terme is famous for its spas, which are internationally renowned amongst the medical community for the therapeutic efficacy of their unique waters in Italy thanks to their iron and arsenic mineral components. The water spring is located in Vetriolo at 1,500 m above sea level, surrounded by fir woods. The fjord-shaped Levico lake is to be found at its feet, ideally suited to peacefully fishing, rowing and swimming.
The wonderful scenarios in which Levico Terme is enclosed are ideal for outdoor sports, entertainment and well-being. Moreover, Levico offers the chance to hike surrounded by pure nature, typical handicrafts, art and history: the church of San Biagio, the ruins of Castel Selva and the Austrian forts.
The Hapsburg park of the thermal building is the greatest historical garden in the province of Trento and hosts one of the most enchanting Christmas Markets of the region.
Mount Panarotta offers access to valleys, mountains, tiny alpine lakes, mountain chalets and wild nature where guests can enjoy high-altitude hiking, mountain-bike tours, hang-gliding and paragliding. The skiing structure of Panarotta 2002 opens in winter and is well-connected and easy to reach.
Levico Terme is also popular for hosting the starting and arrival areas of La 30 Trentina, an international 30-km road race which is gaining more and more relevance among the Italian running competitions.
