Registration opens on 1 February

The aim is to go beyond the target number of 2,000 enrolled athletes

From tomorrow, 1 February 2018, the countdown to La 30 Trentina 2018 will start. This is the date on which the registration to the 30-km road race will open. The competition will take place on 30 September 2018 and the route will take the athletes around Lake Levico and Lake Caldonazzo, starting from and arriving to the enchanting historical town of Levico Terme.

2,500 athletes are expected in Levico Terme and the event will be organised by a committee coordinated by the A.S.D Non Solo Running, made by Massimo Pegoretti, Gaia Volta, Isidoro De Bortoli and Loris Zortea. Since the first year, they have been taking care of designing and setting up a breath-taking route, which has instantly received much acclaim, thanks to the support of many local associations and Valsugana public institutions. This is confirmed by the rapid growth in participant numbers: starting from less than 300 starters in 2012, in 2017 La 30 Trentina reached 1,940 runners, who livened up the fascinating route. This year the challenging aim is to go beyond the threshold of 2,000 enrolled athletes.

The key to La 30 Trentina success is to be found in the lively environment which surround the athletes who will run immersed in untouched nature on the shores of two lakes, with last kilometres following the typical fishermen's path until the arrival area located in the green Parco Segantini, in Levico Terme. The event is also popular for its friendly spirit and for the party at the end of the competition, with great live music, pasta party, exhibition stands and many entertaining activities.

It is quite early to know the name of the winners who will succeed Fabrizio Pradetto and Claudia Gelsomina, who won in 2017. However, the organising staff affirms the some top-runners may be at the starting line on 30 September, making the event standing out even more as the perfect stage in the route to prepare an autumn marathon.

As it happened in last years, many other events will be organised together with La 30 Trentina 2018. The main news of this year is the date in which Pergine Urban Trail will take place. The road race through the town centre of Pergine Valsugana, reaching Castel Pergine, will take place on Sunday, 9 September 2018.

During the same weekend of La 30 Trentina, the Happy StrongBoy Perzen event will take place on Saturday in Pergine Valsugana, and the charity walk “Camminata per la Vita” from Pergine Valsugana to Levico Terme will launch the long list of events organised on Sunday, 30 September. The last metres of the path will follow La 30 Trentina route, until reaching the arrival point located in the green Parco Segantini.
